On nitro at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with medium creamy beige head that lasts. The aroma is coffee grounds, brownie, roast. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, bitter finish, good.

Nitro pour pint at the brewery. Thick chocolate milkshake like pour with the nitro cream head. Fresh coffee bean aroma. Flavor is a heavy coffee roast with a semi sweet milk chocolate. Is there coffee in this? Seems like it. Crea. Heavy, espresso finish. I have disliked a notable streak of nitro beers, but this one was fantastic. Best nitro beer I’ve had?? Could be. UPDATE: 2 years later, almost to the day. At Black Raven, again, presented on nitro. Still an amazing porter. Dessert like beer. More chocolate centered this go around, more so than coffee. Great stuff.

On nitro tap at Brouwer's for Big Wood, pours black with a medium, smooth tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, light chocolate and light wood. Flavour is slightly less inviting, with toasted nuts, light barrels, slight sour notes, butter chocolate and bitter coffee. Very nice.
