On tap at Geaux, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of hearty oats upfront, followed by dry cocoa and a touch of coffee. Flavour is rather astringent, with oats and unsweetened dry cocoa. There's a rather harsh astringency on the finish that I could do without. Decent nitro stout, but needs a little work.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cracker, roast, cocoa. Medium body, roast, cocoa, cracker malt, light dry finish, good.
