Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a light amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has sweet grains with bread and a touch of toffee. Flavor lots of bread and hay with some toffee underlying.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper with small white head that lasts. The aroma is smoke and dark fruit. Medium body, licorice, cocoa, boozy finish, good.

On tap at Bad Jimmy's, pours a clear copper amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out notes of bready caramel malt and toasted bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted bread, sweet caramel and some vegetal herbal notes. Something a bit off here. Not bad, but needs some tweaking.
