Draft pour, tasted at Ravenna, Seattle. Clear copper color pour with a thin film head. Bold, spicy malt.forward aroma. Flavor is a touch of the, toasty malt, good carb, and a soft bitterness that lasts. Very malt forward. Impressionable rye. Bold, and very tasty. Solid RyePA here

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is rye and caramel. Medium body, resin, mango, rye, light bitterness, good.

On tap at Ravenna, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots not spicy rye upfront, followed by earthy hops and bready malt. Flavour is spicy and earthy, with lots of the rye upfront, bitter hopping, and murky earthy bready malt. Not very clean, but it's a difficult style to make clean. Not bad but lacking cohesion and elegance.
