2024: The 2024 edition of our award-winning Imperial Porter spent a full year aging to perfection in first-use Woodinville whiskey barrels. The result is a harmony of oak and a decadently dark malt profile, punctuated by the extravagance of Madagscar, Burundi, Indian, and Comoros vanilla beans. Expressions of sweet chocolate cake, dark fruit, and marshmallow play against a backdrop of understated roastiness. Warming bourbon and toasted oak provide balance and depth. Show Less
2025: The 2025 edition of our award-winning Imperial Porter spent a full year aging to perfection in first-use Westland whiskey barrels. The result is a harmony of oak and a decadently dark malt profile, punctuated by the extravagance of Madagascar, Sumatra, Uganda, and Nicaragua vanilla beans. Expressions of sweet chocolate cake, dark fruit, and marshmallow play against a backdrop of understated roastiness. Warming bourbon and toasted oak provide balance and depth.

12 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose has pungent whiskey barrels, light vanilla, and medium roast. Flavour is complex, with dark sugars, vanillin, roasted malt, and lots of whiskey barrels. Rich malts, sticky sugars, and great barrel character. Excellent.

500 mL waxed bottle. 2017 version. 11.4%. Waxed bottle, beautiful artwork. Dark and dense brown pour. Insane specs for a porter here. Such true vanilla flavor. Not artificial like others. Sweet chocolate, nutty malt, wood, and vanilla aroma. Flavor is full of much of the same. Love the unique profile. Smooth bourbon finish, and again, true vanilla notes. I'd call this a hidden gem in our region. Wonderfully made strong porter here. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is wood, bourbon, roast, vanilla bean. Medium body, roast, cocoa, bourbon, wood, light sweetness, very good.
