Draft pour at Lucky Envelope. Pours a jet black with no head. Nutty, soy sauce, roasted malt aroma. Flavor is super thick, soy sauce again. A lot wrong with this for me. Hardly tastes like a beer. I feel like I should be pouring it over my sushi instead. A strong beer. Maybe with less booze this has potential. The way it is, very rough beer.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has mild peanut butter supported by dark grains and a hint of roast. Flavor has earthy dark grains and a bit of sweet peanut butter.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast and cocoa. Slick body, roast, chocolate, nuts, dry finish, good.
