Bottle. Cloudy, light copper-brown with a 1.5 finger head. A sweet-grain aroma. Taste is a pleasant well balance taste upfront with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Lightly hazy, dark honey brown with light sparkle, thin head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is fig, caramel, background wheat. Taste is slightly caramel, slightly wheat malt bill, mild fruit but not ester/banana quality. Smooth thick texture, flat-to-soft carbonation, finish as taste. True to the description on the bottle, less ester-driven than Bavarian Weisse but hops they advertise are not here--am guessing this may be quite old though the lack of enthusiasm is not just mine.

Refrigerated 16 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Dark amber with small beige head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty small-bubble lacing. Taste is caramel and banana. If you would like caramel banana this is pretty good.

On tap at Holy Grale. Pours a cloudy orange with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, citrus, spice. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light finish, good.

Lemongrass and sweet kibble nose, not strong. Cloudy copper, medium yellow head. Honey, kibble, oranges, lemongrass. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Rather like a hellerbock.
