Pour is a thick maple syrup looking brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a big leathery caramel malt with brown sugar notes all over. Flavor is liquid tootsie-roll, a bit sweet caramel with some molasses and burnt sugar. Finish is sweet and a bit of alcohol. This was a big and heavy beer with lots of flavor. A winter warmer for sure.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit and wood. Medium body, dark fruit, caramel, light dry finish, very good.
