Taste at the Stanley Beer Hall. Clear brown, with a big, frothy, tan head. The aroma is cocoa, rye, dust, floral notes, and pine. Sweet and syrupy, with an assertive bitterness. Medium body, with a grainy, chewy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty, but off style.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is spice, pumpkin, fruity malt. Medium body, pumpkin, spice, bready malt, very good.
