Bottle at Pibar, Lausanne
Hazy blond color with large head. Spicy, pungent aroma, very unique, grass juice, some sweat, sugar floss. Smooth mouthfeel, not too dry; malt flavor with a hay character; strong and balanced bitterness; nice orange character, quite fruity, followed by some mango and passion fruit; it has a minimum Belgian yeast presence and mild spicy character.
Elegant, excellent.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, tangerine, glue, fruity, light floral, light butter and honey. Hoppy bitter flavour, sweet malts, light floral. Bitter finish, malty, Nelson Sauvin, white wine.
Nice pairing with asparagus.

21/II/13 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a - bottled: 3/XII/12 (2013-180) Thanks to Hilaire for the bottle!
Clear pale yellow beer, huge fizzy white head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: grassy hops, pretty fruity, some mango and passion fruit, hint of citrus. MF: lots of carbon, medium to light body. Taste: grassy and bitter start, citrus, little fruity, sour as well, little herbal, like a German pilsener. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, grassy, hint of citrus and a little fruity. In all a very simple light beer. Aroma induces expectations which are not filled in by the one dimensional flavour. Food pairing wise I think options are limited to a simple (spicy) salad or a light fish course.
