Sample at the taproom. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit and caramel. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is caramel and rye. Medium body, caramel, rye, toasted malt, light resin finish, good.
