The modern pale version of the Belgian Tripel finds its roots at the Westmalle brewery in Belgium, having previously been a much darker ale. The Tripel has since become a favorite among beer lover worldwide and is often bottle conditioned.
Our tripel has notes of bright citrus on the nose from the addition of Lemon Verbena picked directly from Winslow’s own garden, to compliment the more traditional banana and clove Belgian background. First taste reveals flavors of pomme fruit & golden honey followed by a noticeably dry, effervescent finish

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, pure sugar, floral. Medium body, yeast, clove, banana, boozy finish, good.
