Tap at GABF. Pours a dark amber with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong rye, toasted malt, caramel. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light dry finish, good.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear bright reddish-amber color with a thin and creamy light beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, hops and rye. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, hops and mildly spicy rye. The finish is malty with rye undertones. Interesting beer, decent overall.
