Bottle.

A- Black color, opaque liquid, brown head.

A- Oak, whisky, chocolate.

F- Oak, booze, green apple.

T- Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, tangy finish.

O- Afraid this was infected and a bad bottle. Wonder if Tavour had any idea or others got bad bottles. Maybe it was the age or storage, not sure, but not getting all the great notes others seem to taste which is a massive bummer considering the price. But not totally undrinkable.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is full of rich bourbon barrels, plenty of vanillin, and some molasses. Flavour is wonderfully rich, showcasing the beautiful bourbon barrels, molasses, and a touch of vanilla. The base beer is of course wonderful, and the barrels really make it shine. Wonderful.

22oz bottle. Pours black with a small brown head. Tons of bourbon, roasted malts, and burnt dark sugars on the nose. Flavour is rich and complex, lots of boozy bourbon, some woody barrels, and a sweetness similar to pomegranate molasses. Rich and complex, great barrel character. Fantastic.

Bottle. Pitch black with a small, dense, tan head. Strong aroma dark malt, roast, vanilla, dry fruit, dark chocolate and warming Bourbon alcohol. Flavor is sweet, dark malt with the same flavors as found in aroma, fine warming alcohol and a spicy touch in aftertaste. Fine body with a long lasting aftertaste. Solid.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a thick, deep brown with a finger of beige head that dissipates quickly. Chocolate milk, brownies and fudge on the nose with bourbon and oak as it warms. Thick and viscous on the palate with creamy fudge and brownie notes as it warms. Vanilla, oak and bourbon towards the finish. Definitely sweet, but not overly so for a pastry stout. Good barrel character throughout.

Bottle shared by Tom, thanks! Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bitter dark grains and dark chocolate with roasted malts and a decent amount of barrel. Flavor has sweet dark grains and chocolate with a bourbon bite and a hint of roast.

Dark brown. On the nose, well, it's a bourbon imperial stout. It's a bit boozy, then it has a decent chocolate-accented note. Big and burly, fairly complex because it has a light acidity. I am liking this. It's intense, heavy, oaky, but I like that, and there's enough malt richness to make it work.
