German IPA (West Coast-style)
German IPA isn’t technically considered a style, but why not have an IPA that showcases the distinctive hops of the region?!? Jan steers clear of the intensity of American hops and exhibits the nuance and subtleties of Germanic-born varieties. Some of our favorites – Hallertau Blanc, Mandarina Bavaria, and Huell Melon – create a crispy combo of heavy spice, fresh citrus, and summer melon! And just like most German beers – drinkability is key! This one is an absolute guzzler!

On tap at St. Elmo, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light herbal hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is true to style, with grassy hops, and biscuity malt. Nicely balanced, with a grassy finish. Very solid.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is floral and citrus. Medium body, honey, citrus, pine, very good.
