Waxed, capped Winter 2019 bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient dark tan head. Aroma of nice coffee, chocolate and bourbon notes. Full bodied. Fairly dry, just some malt sweet - not much. Coffee; cacao nibs; bourbon; wood notes. Heat is pleasant. Bitterness supplied by burnt malt and heat. Gets drier and somewhat earthy with time. Good brew.

Bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate big coffee vanilla bourbon barrel notes. Taste is more of the nice roast coffee chocolate and bourbon barrel goodness.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malt, smoke, wood, vanilla. Medium body, smoke, wood, vanilla, roasted malt, boozy finish, very good.
