Witbier brewed with orange peel and coriander

This traditional Belgian-style white ale refreshes the body and illuminates the spirit. Brewed with malted and unmalted wheat and seasoned with coriander and sweet orange peel, Witte pours hazy, smooth and flavorful, with aromas of citrus and clove.

Crisp and refreshing on its own, it shines brightly alongside lighter fare like salads and appetizers, and serves as a perfect complement to barbecue and spicy dishes.

Enjoy a taste of the sun. Santé!

0,355l bottle from Beergium. A bit hazy, light yellow beer with medium white head. Aroma has banana, wheat and sweet malts. Taste has some hints of citrus, wheat. Not much else. Medium body, high carbonation. Nice to drink on a hot summer day in terrace, but nothing else.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy pale yellow with greenish tinge, 1 1/2-finger width frothy white head with fair retention, decent sparkle, decent lcaing. Aroma is surprising smokiness, wheat. Taste is tart, citrusy wheat, different from aroma. Palate is medium bodied with foamy texture, lively carbonation and lightly tart finish. Overall, representative of the style without a lot of complexity.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast and orange. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long orange fruity and wheat finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

12oz bottle. Hazy light yellow-tan body, creamy, fluffy white head...pretty great appearance. Some zesty coriander in the aroma. Not a spicebomb by any means though, this is very balanced and authentic tasting. A really well done Wit. Easy light to medium body. Pretty much nails the style.
