hazy orange to amber colour, huge slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of citrusy-grapefruity-piney notes with hints of peach (?); taste is the same with surprisingly intensive caramel notes (which of course does not overwhelm the hoppyness at all); amazing IPA

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy amber. Messy, sticky, lasting, white head. Pithy, pink grapefruit. Some strawberry. Touch of spice. Ginger biscuit, maybe. Taste is fruity bitter. Light, spicy dry. Palate has a chew on it. Finishes spicy bitter. Expected more punchy hop.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. A bit hazy amber with a small white head. Fresh and hoppy with grapefruit, some pineapple and hay. The finish was on the dry side and rather bitter. A descent beer.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen - hazy amber orange pour with medium white head. Aroma and taste holds a plethora of citrus and tropical fruits, some grassy, floral and piney hop notes, nice hop resin and hop spice bite towards the bitter finish. Gorgeous.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey-pinkish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma with perfumed touch, notes of pine and grapefruit. Taste is bitter hoppy, peppery spicy, caramel malty, piney, grapefruit notes, some apricot; crispy bitter, minimally biting, intense. Very harmonious integration of malt sweetness and hop flavours.

Tap @ Beer Temple (taster size). Red/amber color, hazy. Off white, good lacing. Aroma’s: fruity hops (citrus?), light malty sweetness. Retronasal I get citrus, herbal hops, light sourness, light malty sweetness. Flavor is moderate bitter with a light malty sweet backbone. Medium bodied. Finishes with a lovely firm bitter finish. I came to the conclusion long ago, and this reconfirms: Mikkeller is the king of IPA’s.

Draft at beertemple . Pours bit clear amber good white head Smell is less intense than expected . Taste is bitter . Earthy hop , bit stonefruit , intensified to the maximum , leaving a taste that is barely recognizable as aromatic . Good .
