Bottle @ home. Hazy almost opaque orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly fruity and a touch of sweetish floral hops. Taste malts, hops, pretty bitter, almost no fruit hops in the flavor. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Deep amber color, good beige head, lace. At first intensive resiny, fruity aroma but later aroma lets down turning to more like to outdoor shit house. Medium-bodied. Flavor is quite fruity. Strawberry, watermelon and some citrus. Easy drink - mellow and fruity. Enjoyable flavors although simplish.

Deep copper glow with a nice hazy orange tint and a nice thickish light tan head. Aroma of deep nutty, earthy hops with less of a bite and drying character, but a good malt presence and a bitter earthy and caramel touch. Medium-bodied; Pungent earthy, caramely hop flavours at first with a big bitterness on the end and a good balance of hops and malt for the style. Aftertaste shows a lot of the nutty, earthy and caramel note of the chinook (now I know exactly what this hop is like) with a good malt balance and a good higher alpha acid hoppy note at the very end. Overall, a nice IPA that shows off the hops well, just as the other single hop varietals shows, but the chinook is simply not for me, but you can’t blame the beer or producer for that. If they lowered the price, I’d be happier, but i obviously bought this, so it’s not horrible. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 28-April-2011 for US$6.99 (best by 22/12/2011 on cap) sampled at home in Washington on 17-July-2011.

11.2oz bottle pours clear copper with off white head. The mild aroma emits citrus, tropical fruit and spicy hops. The flavor is nice and hoppy with a sort of citrus rind, citrus meat and earthiness coming together and then growing toward increasing levels of spicy hops. It becomes mostly spicy hop into the finish with a good degree of bitterness and echoes of earthy citrus.
