Bottle at Denver Rare Beer Tasting 8. Pours a cloudy purple with small off white head. The aroma is funky, currants, grape, oak. Medium body, jammy grape, currants, wood, nice tartness, dry finish, very good.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VIII on 10/07/2016. Reddish-brown color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. Tart fruit, yeast and malt in the nose. Medium body with a tart cherry and berry character, with yeast and doughy malt in the background. The finish is moderately tart with a blackcurrant and berry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
