Can. Very pale golden with a small, white head. Lemonade-aroma with some pilsner-ish hints. Reminds me the most of a German radler when tasting it, with citrus and hints of beer. Thin bodied thirst-quencher. (061222)

(Can 50 cl) Clear, deep golden with a small, creamy head. Light aroma of apples. Medium body with sweet’n’sour apple notes. Ends mainly sourish yet with a sticky, sugary palate. Odd beer. 181206

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishng head. Really ugly synthetic aroma. Better flavor, but too synthetic to really taste of apple. Short finish. Not to bad palate, but still watery.

White pearly head, gone in secs over darker golden beer. If anything, a nose of yellow-green grapefruit. As to apples, zilch, but the nose is very fruity, and surprisingly not at all artificial. Taste: now this IS apple. Sweet apples, dried, but with a fresh sourish onset, that unfortunately seems added. The German ingredients’ list tends to prove this: lemonaroma, acids, including apple (malonic?) acid are added... Refreshing MF, light. At least when served cold; I fear that it might become a tad cloying warming up. This is the opposite of Belgian fancy fruit beers: this IS chemistry and appears natural, whilst the Belgians are usually half-honest and appear totally fake...

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with mediumsized bubbly white head. Strong aroma of lemon. Lime in flavour, sodapoplike more than a beer. Strong lime in aftertaste too...

Bottle. Apple juice aroma. Golden yellow color. Very sweet apple/lemon-lime flavor. Can’t really detect any malt or hops in this. Basically a Polish Radler or Shandy.

Canned. Golden colour, no head. Sweet and sparkling apple lemonade, that’s what this is. Very non-beery.

Dark straw colour. Sweet aroma with slight fruitiness (tangerine, peach). Evidently, this is some sort of shandy. Very sweet, with cloying fake lemon (even worse now that I read it’s supposed to be apple). OK, it’s drinkable, but that’s despite itself.

An orange beer with a small very fast disappearing head. The aroma is of apples combined with beer - a sourness coming from the apples. The flavor is like fresh applesjuice - rather acidic and very carbonated. A very refreshing drink - but not a beer in my universe - and not for me.
