Doskonale ciemno brazowe ale. Alkohol niewyczuwalny, jakby go wogole nie bylo. Wspaniala gesta i kremowa piana. Malo nagazowane jak na belgijskie piwo. Wspanialy piszkoptowo-piernikowy aromat. Smak takze wspanialy karmelowo piernikowy. Podobny w smaku do najlepszych abbaye dubbel.

2011 Vintage 33 cl. bottle split thx! to Kraddel. Ruby amber brownish, okay off-white head. Smell is sweet, light molasses, spices, brown sugar, red gummy candy, near-wine in a non-sour way. Bitter herbs, light candy, touch syrup, near-metallic bitter, quite a bit of cough syrup, brown sugar, root beer. Lightly fizzy, touch metallic body. Probably went lightly south but intriguing still.

Reddish colour. Aroma has some bready, yeasty notes. Also some woody, malty tones akin to a whiskey. These come through in the flavour too together with some sweeter fruity elements. Quite a warming finish.

22/VII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ Erwin's place - BB: III/13- (2012-740) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear ruby red beer, big irregular off-white head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing. Aroma: forest fruits, caramel, elder berries, some citrus fruits. MF: good lively carbon, maybe a little too much, medium body. Taste: mocha and bitter chocolate first, touch of caramel, dried fruits, bitter hoppy touch, little vinous. Aftertaste: mocha, bitter hops, cocoa powder, little fruity, bit vinous again, mocha.

33cl bottle, BBE 03/2014. Poured amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is wet wool socks and caramel notes. Flavor is similar, caramel and more spiciness, anise in finis. Bit too sweet. Medium body. Not very interesting.

(bottle) Hazy, reddish amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly yeasty toast-malty aroma with notes of toffee, dried fruits and leaves. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of toffee and a tinge of chocolate; sweet and slightly toasty finish with notes of chocolate and traces of alcohol in the aftertaste. Quite pleasant. 07.IV.11
