Roast and potpourri. Lacks any real depth of potency for an imperial porter. Black pour with ok head. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Angels Trumpet.

On tap at Wren House, pours a red-tinged dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, light earthiness and some wood. Flavour is full of liquorice, some coal-like notes and dry cocoa. A bit of rubbery character in there, but not too detracting. Okay.

15%-er. Pint can pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, a bit of marshmallow,  molasses soaked dark roasted malts and then booze. The taste delivers smooth rich sweetened, dark chocolate and then molasses nuanced booze. It gets sweater, boozier and a bit marshmallow like into the finish. Nice sipper.

Crowler thanks to AJ. Pours a dark brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong wood, caramel, bourbon. Medium body, caramel, roast, wood, bourbon, nice sweetness, very good.
