Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Black pour with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart berry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart blueberry, herbal yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart mixed berry and yeast. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity sour tart blueberry and caramel aroma. Fruity sour tart caramel flavor with hints of blueberry. Has a fruity sour tart woody caramel finish.

Bottle thanks to Derek. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is funk, oak, blueberry, floral. Thin body, blueberry, funky, leather, nice tartness, very good.
