Departures from Equilibrium are known as fluctuations. It pours a very hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and lychee with an undercurrent of sorbet and cream. Fluctuation tastes highly resinous and tropical with an assertive yet soft bitterness. We consider this fluctuation to be perfectly unbalanced.

Can (9/2/20) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is bright orange (orange juice) with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger rocky foam head with good retention and lots of leggy lacing. Aroma is mix of citrus, stone fruit and hint of wet socks. Taste is overripe pineapple, mango, light citrus and almost a tinge of peanut. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin, creamy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry finish as taste with moderate lingering bitterness. Overall, looks great but weird aspects to all the rest--wet socks in the aroma, overripe pineapple and peanut(?!) in the taste and too carbonated and bitter. Unbalanced indeed.

This absolutely smashes New Trail, and NT are one of PA's more consistent offerings. We're lucky to be able to get such a giant in the craft beer world at RBS! Ticks all the boxes. Tropical, juicy, just enough sweetness. Flying through this can!
