Bottle poured into a snifter, black with light tan head. Roasted malt aroma, coffee molasses and licorice taste. Bittersweet malt finish.

Poured from bottle black with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is roasted chocolate malt vanilla light hops yeast. Taste is creamy smooth nice mouth feel chocolate malt light bittering hops and a balanced finish.

Heerlijk. Prachtig flesje. Thuis na een mooie boswandeling en kijkend naar de Hairy Bikers in Asia. Mooie zwarte kleur, vol bruin schuim. Zoet en bitter, uitstekend!

Fluffy beige head left a skim on s near black still body. Liquorice, malt & demerara aroma. Medium to full bodied, super smooth on the palate & a sharp back. Taste is as the aroma with liquorice, malt, pine, dark berries & a hippy citrus finish. Excellent!

From backlog. Bottle at Seb’s Hotel Hamar. Black with light brown head. Roasted malts, hops, coffee and liqorice.

35,5 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Suus. Black with a tan head. Roasted malts with some vinous notes. Taste is sweet with earthen notes. Not as thick bodied as expected but still a very nice, smooth stout.

550ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with faint reddish hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice, dried fruit and a hint of smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice, toffee and sour, dark fruit with bitter coffee in a dry finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Nicely done.
