Poured at Shelton Festival, dark ruby with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is oak, funk, leather, sour fruit. Thin body, similar flavors to nose, nice tartness, very good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark brown color with a plum highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was vinegar, red wine and a touch of wood. The flavor was vinegar, red wine, fairly strong oak, funk and a bit of soy sauce. Medium length finish. Medium body and a bit flat. Solid.
