On tap at Gabf. Pours orange with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is caramel, toasted malt, dark fruit. Slick body, toast, fig, raisin, boozy finish, good.

32oz growler pours with a clear amber body that has some ruby red hues and supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up caramel like malts, brown sugar, dates and prunes with a mild sharp booziness. The taste is similar where I get prunes, figs and dates amid booze that has a faint warming to it. Behind the esters are malts, some molasses and a brown sugar sensation that rises up just as the booziness ratchets a few rungs higher. Maybe cellar time will smooth this out.
