Bottled. Hazy ambr, rich head. Aroma of peach and grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some pear and caramel before a mid bitter finish. Nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 22 May 2006 at 14:08 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: [Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear amber, creamy head. Pleasant grapefruity hoppy nose. Fairly sweet with rounded mouthfeel. The initial beautifully aromatic surge of hops fades out, and it finishes rather bleakly with medium bitterness.

Hazy golden colour with a white head. Light fruity and some malt in the aroma. Not as much hops as expected in the flavour. Very fresh and nice beer. Fruity and citric flavour with a fine malt background.

500ml Bottle - Hazy gold/amber with a foamy head. Grain, lemon, yeast and banana in the aroma. Yeasty and slightly tart taste with notes of dried fruit, lemon, banana and grain. As others have said, it’s more like a wheat beer with some extra hops.

Golden light orange, little hazy. A big, thick, bumpy off-white head that stays for a long time. Aromas of hay, grain, straw and not far from a light german lager beer. When in the mouth I only felt hops at first which really take 80% of the taste of this beer, and the bitterness accelerates after Ive swallowed it. After more sips I could feel hints of hay, some fruityness, alcohol, metal and some sweetness. Medium body, slick but a bit watery mouthfeel. To sum it up: It looks and smells good, but from the first sip it goes downwards. Its not very balanced and not very close to an IPA and feels like its halfway in making it. The hops are present, no doubt about that, but thats all.

500ml bottle, thanks to Finn for sharing. Golden body with a light haze. Rocky, white head, nice lacing. Perfumed-floral aroma. Rounded fruit hoppy taste with lots of oranges. Soft bitter ending. Pleasant in the mouth and on the swallow (session in Tromsø, 16.06.2011). --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 18 Jan 2007 at 13:08 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: 220ml draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Golden brown body with only a ring of foam. Sweet hoppy aroma offset by spicies. Mellow taste of orange succulence.
