Slightly aged sample Small yellowish head over clear orange-copper beer. Rather demure nose with citrus, hops, flowers, lindenblossom, touch of caramel. Bitterish-hoppy flavour, fragrantly herbal, citrus, rosehips, rosewater- if not sweet. Feels much more carbonated than it looks, spritzy feel, light body, faintly peppery aftertaste. Reasonable IPA, no doubt even more fragrant when fresher. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 19 Sep 2008 at 06:46 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Draught Some lace witnessing of head; clear orange beer. Citric hops, some grapefruit, rather than bitter; rainwater smell. Dry, orange peel powder, ends in ureum-rich hops. Little malt backup. A bit empty palate, really, fizzyness on the tongue, yet ending flat. Average IPA, even on draught.

Bottle . Pours rather clear blonde . Ok white head. Smell is lots of simcoe (?) , fruity . Taste is a bit dissapointing . Starts wattery , with a woody, piny kinda taste . Sweet , bit old ( cardboard and harsh ) with a full-fruity ending . No real bitterness at all . Ok , but nothing more

Bottle 0.5l from Irma, 6.0% ABV. Pours hazy bright amber-orange with short-lived white head. Nose of tropical fruit. Aroma likewise, sweet mango, sour passion fruit. Medium bitter, well balanced with sweetness. Medium body, nice average IPA.

Copper colour. Tropical fruit aroma. Initial taste is a bit soapy but it develops with fruitiness (pineapple) and an almost Brett-like sharpness. Sharp and bitter in the finish.

50 cl bottle, souvenir from honeymoon in Denmark (M.H.T. 25/12/13). Clear golden to orange color. Rocky white to off white head with good retention. Aroma’s: caramel and bready malt, some hop acidity. More hoppiness retronasal. Flavor is caramellish, light sweet, hints of soft fruit. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry, with just hints of bitterness. OK, well brewed, but not really memorable (maybe I left it standing too long?)

50 cl bottle (6%) @ Timo A. Batch #581, BBE 06.12.2012 Aroma is quite light and stale with some fruity hops. Flavour has hops with exotic fruits and caramel. Foamy palate is high on CO2. Decent.
