bottle sourced from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours dark amber brown with a nice beige covering. Sweet malty aroma and taste with a plethora of dried fruit, some caramel, treacle, brown sugar, yeasty and spicy accents into the close, tasty stuff.

Tap at The Church by Lost Abbey, in San Diego, 28th February 2025. Pours a dark brown, aroma is dark fruit, bitter, mellow, tasty and like a weaker version of the Quad. Nice stuff

On tap @The Church. Clear & classy amber brown with a sticky oatmeal head. I don't think I've had this beer in 15 years. Cold nose. Couldn't warm it enough to matter. Smooth. Gently sweet malt, mellow spice, faint wood, fainter cocoa, brandy, faded piney hops, tea tannin finish. Great.

Bravo.

10/20 bottle. Bright redddish brown with a fluffy off white head. Slightly shy aroma of dried fruit, nuts, panettone, some spices. Medium bodied, moderate to lowish carbonation. Quite yeasty and quite spicy and drier than guessed with only a little dried fruit and brown sugar before a spicy bitter end that has hints of metal. But as it warms it softens a little. Pretty good in a style I often seem to think I like more than I really do.

Daher Prost!
