Bottled. A deep red beer with small black pieces of sediment floating arouind under a thin pink head. The aroma is sweet with notes of cherries and almonds. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of cherries with an light underlying acidity, that draws a bit of mouthwater.

33 cL bottle, thanks to Ungstrup for sharing rare brew. Pours hazy deep red and with a fizzy pink head. Mild almond and light wooden cherry aroma. Flavour starts sweet and soon reveals a more herbal to wooden flavour. Light citric and mild mouldy mix. Lingering sweet fruity finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours an almost clear reddish with a lively and bubbly, pink head. Sweetish berry like aroma. Light in body, no real malt feel, sweetish berry notes although you cannot really recognize cherry to be the particular one. Sweet - almost stickingly sweet - finish. More like a fruit pop really. 160907

Clear reddish pink color, big frothy pink head. Aroma of cherries, hint of strawberry, some prune, some hop. Sugary sweet cherry taste, very fruity, slight bitter, some marzipan. Quite a lot of carbonation. Although not real cherries, it certainly reminds me of them.

Bottle. Hazy red body with a pink head. Aroma and flavor is much the same, cherry syrup. Very sweet but actually not the worst of it’s kind. Down the drain anyway.

Cyclamen-pink head, receding over bright cardinal-red beer. Faint fruity nose, mainly cherry, faintly citric acid and - colour paint? Not overwhelming, which is positive. One short moment of sourish-tinted fruitjuice, then a bubbling stream of fruitsyrup, concocted by the very Snowwhite’s witch, tumbles in: heat-melted and crushed cherry "bonbons", caramelised, syruped and sugared to put Turkish delight (lokoum) to shame. Faint smokiness retronasal. Syrupy impression, in fact, the sheer sweetness makes it resemble way more viscous than it probably is. Ann, I’m sorry but I tell it as I find it. I compared the de Banane to toxic waste. This must be the biological weapon. I’m expecting Lord Voldemort W. Bush’s legions to invade Belgium any moment now (to get the beer cheap).
