Stout vera, con massiccio uso di malti tostati e luppolatura muscolosa. Sentori di caffe’, liquirizia, cioccolata amara, lasciano poi spazio all’erbaceo persistente del luppolo. Una irlandese in Toscana!

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours an opaque dark brown with a reddish hue and a rough beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts and a little fruit. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, hard roasted maltiness and a whiff of vanilla. Some malt bitterness in the finish. 040409

Bottle, 6%. 1 year past BB date. Weak fruity aroma, slightly roasted, faintly yeasty. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Very small light brown head. The flavour has a little coffee, slightly citric. Weak lactic acidity, not so bad. Still good in spite of the BB date. Papery finish.
