The 2017 harvest blend was comprised of two barrels fermented and aged in wet Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, blended with a barrel of aged saison, and refermented on a blend of approximately 90% organic Washington blackberries and 10% organic Washington blueberries. This is a heavily acidic beer as far as Floodland beers go, but the balance of fruit and the barrel characters is really fun and the nuances of the barrels come out from behind the fruit as it warms.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a dark ruby with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is blackberry, funk, oak. Slick body, light acidity, funk, berry, cherry, light dry finish, really enjoyed this.
