Celebrating Portland’s reputation as the City of Roses, we present Rose City Sour, a blend of wheat and blond ales aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 14 months with rose petals, rose hips and hibiscus flowers. Rose City Sour captures the delicate floral aromas of fresh roses matched with notes of dried cranberries, pomegranates and hint of white pepper.

MBCC Sunday session, 'No riff raff'. Keg. Hazy orange - amber beer, small peachy colour head. Smooth semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Light winey fruits and floral fruits. Mild tangy lemon. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Draught @ Rbabarrab, Sønder Boulevard 53, Copenhagen, Denmark 1720. [ As Cascade Rose City Sour ].Unclear matt medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, tart, herbs, sour, berries, rose hips - flowers - hibiscus, yoghurt notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, cedar, berries, sour, flowers - rose hips, tart. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Draft @ Banger Brewing Company, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a slightly hazy pale red orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour tart woody spicy aroma. Fruity sour tart woody floral hibiscus flavor. Has a fruity sour tart woody floral spicy hibiscus finish.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, oak, flowers, spices, unripe berries, fruit salt, berry skin, hay, sour red berries. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, soda powder, flowers, spices, grass, oak, hay, sorrel, fruit salt, sour red berries. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is yoghurt, rose, fruity. Taste is yoghurt, puckering, rose pedals, hibiscus, fresh. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation, a bit fizzy. Alright.
