Blanche du Paradis is a Belgian-style Wit brewed with coriander seeds and Curaçao orange peels, the spices traditionnally found in this classic style. Unfiltered and containing almost as much raw wheat as malted barley, it presents a veil of yeast and proteins giving this style its "Blanche" name. Round and light at the same time, it exhales fresh baked bread aromas, and reveals spices and citrus flavours, accompanied by subtle notes of acidity coming from the wheat.

Hazy pale yellow with a small white head that fades quickly to a sheet leving minimal lace. Nose is wheat, citrus (orange and lemon at the fore) , coriander, yeast and some light honey. Flavour is lightly sweet with a light+ citrus tartness and a well balanced spice that appears in the middle and fades through the finish. Mouth is medium- and smooth with average carbonation and a dry finish. 8/3/7+/4-/14+

This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a mild hazy burnt orange color with a thin white little head that quickly dissipated. Lacing just slid right on into the beer.
The smell had some sweet lemon, subtle sweet wheat, mild coriander, sweet lemongrass.
The flavor takes in the previously mentioned flavor and beefs up the wheat portion to more of a mildly sweet breadiness to it. Lingering sweet citrus rounds out into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a wonderful sessionable feel. Spices don’t detract on the harshness. Carbonation felt good as well.
Overall, as a witbier it works, definitely, but why am I drinking it this time of the year, yeah well, I’ll drink again preferably in the Summer.

330ml bottle shared with ippopotamo36. Cloudy pale golden appearance with a little with head. Aroma is malty with notes of wheat, bread, caramel, citrus zest, floral notes. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, some fruity freshness. Medium body, medium to low carbonation. A bit unbalanced but tasty.
