Keg at brewdog Shepherd bush. A mostly clear reddy ruby amber coloured pour with a lasting loose beige head. Aroma is punchy grapefruit citrus, zesty, pine needle hops, some hot alcohol. Maybe a little bubble gum of the nose as well. Flavour is composed of kinda biacuity base grains, dried grapefruit peel, tangerine, candied orange. Palate is medium bodied, chewy resinous hops, hot alcohol, semi dey finish. Assertive grapefruit citrus hop bitterness. Punchy.

Keg @ BrewDog Leeds, Leeds. Hazed golden-amber with a small head. As per previous versions this has a notable strength, but a better tropical fruitiness.

Tap at BrewDog Brighton. Clear amber color, good white head. Sweetish fruits, blood orange and dill in the nose. Medium-bodied. Riped pineapple, mango, strawberries, citrus in the flavor. Easy to drink for this abv, not too heavy. Nice sipper. Not complex but good.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - deep amber, almost lava like. Nose - lime marmalade. Strawberries too? Malty at the back. Taste - more lime marmalade and big resin note. Touching on res fruit too, possibly redcurrants and malt again. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good example of the style.

330ml bottle, take-out from Brewdog Brum. Pours orangey amber, medium receding white head. Aroma is fresh orange flesh. Taste is zesty citric fruit, would not have guessed cherries necessarily, nice balance, vibrant exotic fruit but not too intense considering the strength, a touch of Barley Wine syrup, mild marzipan finish. Lovely fruity DIPA.

On tap at BrewDog Shepherds Bush. Clear crimson red colour lasting white head. red fruits big hoppy aroma pink grapefruit. Lots of hop flowers like hop tea to an extent then this sweet strawberry scone flavour. Herby hop leaf flavours. I mean it’s just too much. Too much hop leaf. Some tannin. Strawberry is pleasant but its just too intense to be drinkable. A third of a pint was enough. Got me drunk though.

Keg at the Boosh, 27/06/16. Orange amber with a decent off White head. Nose is caramel malt, bubblegum, bitter orange, grapefruit. Taste comprises candyfloss, toasted brown sugar, bread dough, pine, grapefruit, sweet licks. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent enough boost juice if a touch sweet.
