Bottle. Reddish amber beer with a light head and an oaty aroma. The flavour is oaty with a hint of yeast and roasted bitterness. Overall a reasonable roasted and oaty, bitter, malty beer.

bottle from Landbierparadies24.de. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Grassy hopy in the nose. Full-bodied, solid malty body with grassy-resiny hops. Fine brew.

Clear deep golden with a small off white head. Malty nose with grassy hops and caramel. Flavor was fairly dry with toasted malt, caramel and grassy hops. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small white head. Aroma is sweet and almost candy-like caramel. Medium body, very sweet malts and caramel, but also with an oxidized edge indicating that this is far from the freshest. Vague underlying tartness. Some hops in the finish. Drinkable though. 280710

50 cL bottle at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden dark orange with a small/lacing white head. Aroma is roasted, light breadish. Flavour is similar with a vague metallic note. Light lingering breadish to mild roasted touch. Bitter and smooth caramelish to light breadish lingering malty finish.

Bottle 50cl @ Home.[ Trade with Maria ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (080608)

(7/2/08) Draught at the brewpub in Merkendorf. Clear amber color. Aroma of malt and some toasted bread. Sweetish malty flavor with some toastiness and some caramel. Medium-bodied.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, grass and some salted hints. Flavour is sweet malts along with some grassyness. Pleasant to drink, but not very entertaining.
