Bruesicles are smoothie-style tart ales, crafted with loads of hand-processed fruit and designed to take your tastebuds on the perfect summer vacation. True to The Bruery Terreux style, the base beer is barrel-aged and loaded with complexities.
This iteration uses a delightful combination of flavors— blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, raspberries, and strawberries— for a tropical smoothie like nothing you’ve tasted before.

Crowler to tulip.
Appearance: opaque red/purple color with no head and no lace
Aroma: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and boysenberries - sweet and tart with a touch of sour to them; nice dose of vanilla and/or lactose
Flavor: starts tart with a subtle sour then has a nice sweet underneath sliding in while mixing the prior noted aromas to a fine blend; finishes with all the prior noted berries
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under with a fair sort of sessionability about it; some lactose/vanilla helps to smooth out some of the rough tart/sour abrasiveness
Overall: nicely done fruited tart/sour ale I would welcome again.

16oz can thanks to Steve pours out a thick deep purple red topped with a small head. Nose is all the berries as the name, strawberries blueberries raspberries wow. Taste is more of the nice sweet berries a little tart note to help cut the sweetness.
