Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is yeast, pale malt, grain, bit spicy, mild grassy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nothing special but drinkable Belgian ale.

Not very much of an aroma, but a sweetish, hoppy, somewhat metallic flavor. Milky and pear with just a hint of toffee. Not the best Van Eecke can offer.

750ml bottle from Belgiuminabox.com. Piwo swietnie wyglada w tulipanie Duvela. Piekna spora piana, ale jak na Belga malo trwala. Kolor skorki pomaranczy, nieco piaskowatej metnosci. Zapachowo wyczulem jakby czarnuszke. Smakowo chlebowe klimaty, ziarno slonecznika, siemie lniane. Fajne ogolnie zbozowo ziarniste piwo. Ciut za mocno nagazowane, ale OK

Cette Vlasbier me fait davantage penser à un soda au citron qu'à une bière à vrai dire. Pas qu'elle soit mauvaise, mais quand je bois une bière, j'ai envie d'avoir une bière. L'acidité empêche de plus à l'équilibre de s'installer. Bière pour se rafraîchir donc. En verre blond doré avec un EBC aux alentours de 23. Une mousse blanche de 5 mm d'épaisseur la surplombe. Le nez est très classique sur les céréales, la coriandre et le citron. C'est à la dégustation que la Vlasbier se révèle vraiment. Dès l'attaque, nous sommes sur l'acidulé, sur un air de limonade, avec une dominante citron accompagné de céréales et quelque peu de coriandre. La seconde bouche est linéaire avec une arrière bouche plus acide et peu ample. Rien de nouveau sur la troisième bouche qui laisse place à un final peu long mais davantage sur les épices. L'alcool à 6,5 % Abv est aux abonnés absent pour une bière ayant peu d'intérêt.

75cl bottle @ the in-laws, Eecke. Catch-up rating from last year. Pours hazy deep gold, white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty, caramel. Taste presents floral hops, lightly sweet.. kind of like a weak hommelbier. Drinkable table blonde, but nothing spectacular.

Fles 33cl thuis. Zoetje, licht scherpig, goede balans. Wel wat standaard . (3-2017).

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Gorinchem Golden with a white head. Fruity yeasty very Belgian aroma. Taste is medium sweet. Middle of the road beer but not badly brewed, just your average standard Belgian blonde.

F: big, light off-white, average lasting. C: deep gold to light orange, hazy, non-transparent. A: malty, bready, orange, yeast, fruity, spicy, peach, floral, mango. T: malty, grassy, floral, hint of orange peels, spicy, peppery, yeasty, fruity, medium body, normal carbonation, light above average but not bad as well, 0,33l bottle from Spar in Poperinge.
