Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Clear orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of grapefruit, piney hop and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, dank hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Keg at Stone Liberty Station, SD, 13/11/14. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel malt forward, pine infusion, herbal notes, bitter hops, orange peel. Taste comprises earthy hops, straw, grapefruit, woody notes, bitter hoppage, tangy citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, a real bitter bastard. Ok DIPA, lacks a bit of balance for me, little 1D on the bitter front.

On draught at Ale Arsenal. Overt citrus. Pours orange and clear with a full white head. Flavor is more balanced to the bitterness, with a moderately high bittering. Citrus and juiciness shine through.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is herb/fruit. Med body. Flavor is strong and mixed - fruit/citrus/pine and more. Very heavy on hop, but not at all harsh. Finishes smooth and decently bitter. Really, really nice.
