Bottle: Poured a extremely cloudy dirty brown color ale with a super huge off-white foamy head with good retention (lots of ‘’chunks’’ were discernable in the glass). Aroma of floral malt with some funky yeast. Taste is dominated by sweet caramel malt but the yeast presence was just shadowing most of the taste profile. This wasn’t a particularly bad thing as I did appreciate the funky feel from the yeast. Alcohol is well hidden and body if fuller then average.

Bottled. Copper coloured, foamy beige huge head. Fruity aroma with hints of hops. Flavour is sweet alcohol, plum and spices. Finish is spicy and alcoholic. Extremely sweet beer. Aftertaste is hayish hoppy and at the same time it contains caramellish sweetness.

Old-looking 750mL bottle from Egajdzis shared with myself and Eyedrinkale on 8/27/2005. The most difficult cork I have ever removed, I’m surprised no one/nothing was damaged in its removal. Pours a lovely, fully hazy, banana yellow, with a moderate amount of white head, not that long retained, seemingly rather old and tired, as it dosent leave much lacing and there is only sparse bubbling from the liquid. Aroma, however, IMHO, was still wonderful. Vanilla, banana, lots of honey and thick, chewy yeast. A bit of funk to it, just light farmy character, bacteria if you will. A touch of oranges and a decent strength to it overall. Flavor is spicy (pepper, orange peel, lemons, clove), but lets the palate down gently in a soft field of honey and creamy sugariness. Nice sharp acidity grows on the end though, light oxidation, with a tired yeast, a bit dull, but still tastey. Smooth, coating body is medium-full to full, but yet it is not heavy or syrupy in the least, thanks to some miniscule carbonation remaining. White sugary dough, light bananas and cloves. A real treat, I loved this stuff. I wish it was easier to find AdR’s Blonde beers here in the states.

Bottle. Slight clovy aroma. Dark golden colour, slightly cloudy. Small creamy head. Quite sweet flavour, dried fruit, apricot? Good body.

(Bottle 75 cl) Orange golden, hazy ale with a thick creamy head. Incredible fruity aroma. Very, very aromatic but at the same time almost suffocatingly sweet. A beer that should definitely be enjoyed in small quantities. 140604 and 061297

Hazy orange color, huge brownish head - very Orval-like. Floating yeast particles. Fruity (mango, pine-apple) and hoppy nose mixed with lemon. Peppery, chewy malty, medium to full-bodied. Dry, woody aftertaste - suprisingly lacking potential kick of alcohol, just slightly bitter aftertaste. Very good but less complex than expected.

(Draught) Hazy amber beer; yellowish head. Smells a bit green, aromatic but no hops, yeasty and a touch spicey. Bitter taste as from bitter almonds - maybe vegetable bitter too (Brussels' endives or suchlike). Not very distinctive. Sticky mouthfeel. Aftertaste becomes sweet, even cloying with a bitterness more remindful of scorched sugar. It's definitely sweet, and not my cup of, euh, beer.

Cloudy amber body. A dense concentration of small yeast-particles in the body. White frothy head, fully diminishing and virtually not lacing. You can smell the aroma when pourring it out. Hoppy (pine-orange) aroma and also some yoghurt in the aroma. Heavily acidic and lighlty bitter initial flavour. Moderately acidic and moderately bitter (long) finish. You can also sometimes feel the yeast-particles, slipping trough your lips. Oily texture, lively and moderately alcoholic mouthfeel.

Hearty yeasty amber appearance with a thick finger of foam. Aroma is deeply fruity, with lots of raisin, plum, peaches, pears and dark chocolate. The body is robust though spritzy. The flavour is sweet, with chocolate, raisin, caramel, and many of the same fruits mentioned above. Lots of esters and residual sugars. Very rich and warming with a splash of alcohol at the back.
