Butte County roots run deep. Forested hills, winding rivers, towering pines, mighty oaks, and even mightier people—it’s our home. And in the aftermath of the Camp Fire, the most destructive wildfire in California history, we will rebuild. This IPA was brewed to support those affected by the Camp Fire. In Butte, united we stand.

Draft pour at Cigar City. Poured a dark orange color with a small off-white head with a lot of lacing. Aroma was mild resin, with a rye spice character. I almost get a slight chilies or peppery character in this version. Earth. Hop. Malt. Classic west coast.

On tap at the brewery. Pours orange gold with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is pine and citrus. Slick body, dank, grapefruit, light resin finish, juicy, very good.

Lime and some malt. Pours golden with ok head. Light bitter end. I think I liked the original Sierra Nevada canned version a little more. Tap at Cigar City.
