This beer started as a blend of multiple vintages of the same beer, which was then aged in American Oak barrels selected specifically for this release. It was then refermented with passionfruit and a special blend of bacteria and wild yeast in American and French oak barrels, the payoff being a delightfully funky beer rife with honey, fig, oak and tropical fruit.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy amber with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, citrus, passionfruit. Slick body, passionfruit, apple skin, oak, light tartness, very good.
