Der jüngste Zuwachs im Sortiment der BRLO Braukunst aus Berlin ist das German IPA. Hinter dem Namen steckt ein unfiltriertes India Pale Ale, das mit den drei Hopfensorten Comet, Hüll Melon und Polaris eingebraut wird. Kräftig kaltgehopft, mit ordentlich „Wumms“ und anständig bitter – so wie es Braumeister Michael gerne mag.

Bottle from Metro. Caramel amber, fine bubbled head, banana pineapple pine forest nose. Piney dank flavor sticky with German hops and caramel. Lasting bitter aftertaste, this is *not* one of those IPAs where I say it should be labeled pale ale. Very clean but super high IBUs. Really fits the German IPA playbook! Did I taste the same her a those other recent reviews? Must be a new batch...

From tap at BRLO Brwouse, Berlin, 31.03.19. Cloudy dark orange. Beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of succade, pine shoots, pineapple, Sevilla marmalade and malt sweetness. Citrus and pine bitterness is lingering on.

14-03-19 // taster at BRLO BRWHOUSE Clear dark orange golden. Mild hoppy sweetish nose. More on the malty side of an IPA. Good bitterness. Hop aromas present but not dominating.

Noch ein Bier von der Braukunst Berlin, die angeblich einen Teil des Gewinnes wohltätigen Organisationen spendet. Das Bier ist ein gut gewürztes IPA mit schön herben Aromen, die nicht zu sehr auf die Zunge beißen. Es ist hat nette Aromen, könnte aber ein bisschen harmonischer wirken.

F: huge, tan, long lasting. C: coppery, hazy. A: malty, caramel, mellow fruity, bit citrus. T: malty backbone, mellow fruity, lower harmonic bitterness, roasted onion, quite herbal and bit sugary, caramel, medium body and carbonation, not bad, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.
