The entire Reflections series began with this beer. The name, Reflections was derived from the history of a barrel’s past that is reflected on the future beer it ages.
On 11/03/2015, we racked a Bière Blanche experimental batch into a single, unrinsed, French Oak wine barrel which previously held an early batch of Fencerow. The result is a pale, golden, tart Wit beer, that has the huge aromatics of red and black raspberries. The pale color is deceiving, as you don't expect the loads of raspberries that the nose provides.

Teku showing medium amber with no head. The nose shows intense tart notes of steel chardonnay and light barnyard funk. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Highly tart with sharp notes of Meyer lemon, grapefruit, and a very mild backbone. Oak clearly shown in the background throughout but not overwhelming.

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is raspberry, citrus, oak. Thin body, tart berry, light oak, light acidity, really enjoyed this.
