Deep, rich chocolate flavor with smooth barrel character and low roast. This imperial stout has spent 15 months in a variety of barrels including 1792, WLW, OWA, Buffalo Trace, and Elijah Craig. Blend 3 is aged with barrel aged maple syrup. This beer was brewed with Ellison Brewing + Spirits in East Lansing, MI as part of the BSP membership.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice sweet maple syrup vanilla bourbon barrel chocolate. Taste is more of the nice sweet maple forward chocolate roast malts coffee bourbon barrel.

Nice deep rich flavours, alcohol, chocolate, lots of Bourbon, some cinnamon, great taste..

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is maple syrup, roast, bourbon, wood. Thick body, maple, licorice, roast, vanilla, oak, bourbon, light dry finish, enjoyed this.
