Introducing our second installment in the “Greetings” series, Greetings from Grand Isle. This tiki-cocktail Berliner combines zesty lime with sweet kiwi, giving it a tart front end with a candy finish. Toasted coconut rounds out the palate and offers tropical depth to the flavor. Refreshing enough for a day at the camp.

On tap at Parish, pours a cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with kiwi, coconut, lacto and lime. Flavour is tart, bright, and fruity, with plenty of kiwi and lime upfront, accentuated beautifully by the coconut which is anything but subtle. Really nicely constructed. Very good.

Can at home. Normally I’d shy away from a brew with coconut but feeling tropical. Hazy milky yellow orange. Nose is deep coconut and some fruity tones. Tastes just as advertised kiwi, lime, coconut, some wheat and lactic acidosis for sure. The finish is sweet. A tiki hut brew for sure

Lots of coconut and lime. Kiwi not quite as evident. Murky yellow pour with decent head. Decent balance and nice fruity beer. Like a kiwi colada. Sweet and sour finish.

Can. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head. The aroma is strong coconut, wheat, lime zest. Medium body, coconut, lime, pure sugar, light tartness, dough finish, very good.
