On tap at Stone Brewing, Berlin. Dark reddish/brown with a small head. Aroma of toasted malt, some nuts and light smoke. The same in the taste. The body was full and the carbonation soft.

From tap. Pours hazy brown. Small white head. Aroma is mild smoked, toasted malt. Dry, roasted. Smoked. Toffee. Minerals. Bitter and solid malty.minerals finish.

0,15l from tap at Stone Tap Room Berlin. Dark brown color, small tan head. Smells marzipan, nutty, earthy, light smoke, some wood, some dried fruits, berry notes, maple. Lovely smell. Full body, lights carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, smoky, maple, wood, light whisky, peppery, marzipan, nutty, light stored fruits. Finishes lightly roasty with notes of marzipan, earthy and some maple notes. Wow, lovely beer, so smooth, great complexity yet did smooth to drink, great great beer

Keg at MK, BG, 19/07/18. Rich chestnut brown with a decent light beige covering. Nose is dried fruits, nutty, oak, light booze fumes, spice, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake, dates, light spice, oak, dried fruits, toffee, brown bread, mellow bonfire effect. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising balanced alcohol kiss. Solid bock.

Keg at the mother Kelly's. A nice deep ruby red copper coloured pour with a a lasting beige whirl. Aroma is sweet, brown sugars, earthy damp smoke, brandy snap sugars, campfire,. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, layered malts, cakey, riaisn loaf, sweet woody maple,. Palate is medium sweet. Rounded, airy carbonation,. Lingering burnt cake and wood. Nice.

Keg at Mother Kelly's - Bethnal Green. Pours mostly clear ruby-copper with a creamy, tan head. Great aroma, some toasted caramel, brown bread, smoked ham. Medium sweet flavour with notes of campfire, candies ham, honey, brown bread, mild bitter earth. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, some dried berries, earth, sturdy smoke, toasted sugars, more ham. Great stuff.
