Our citrusy and refreshing Berliner Weisse is a modern take on a true Berlin classic. Brewed using the same traditional lactic acid cultures as the Berlin brewers of the 1920's, our Berliner Weisse is a bright and sparkling thirst-quencher. The beer embodies the liveliness of summer with the fruity tang of lemon and melon, further complimented by the tartness of rhubarb and gooseberries. To ensure a properly Stone (and therefore iconoclastic) Berliner Weisse, we upped the ABV to a healthy 4.7% and hopped the beer with new German varieties, Huell Melon and Callista.

Can @ fonefan tasting. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus and light tart. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 300917

Can. Light, tart and drinkable with a medium fruitiness and sweetness. Low spiciness in the end. Notes of something that reminds me of ginger.

Draft @ Beavertown Extravaganza'17. Dorée, paille, col blanc moyen. Arôme offre des effluves funk, lactique avec un rétro nasal oscillant presque sur e fumé. Palais est râpeux, citrique avec pas mal de touche de lactob, le tout est léger un peu monodimensionnelle restant dans un classique de Berlin. Un houblonnage modéré ajoute un effet noble qui contrebalance le lactob.

Burk från SB. Smak och doft av humle, vete, citron, citrus med toner av vita vinbär och lactos. Rund och len, frisk, viss syrlighet och sälta, fin beska.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is dough, wheat, some grains, yoghurt, citrus, lacto. Taste is dough, soft mouthfeel, lacto, citrusy, mango. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice classic Berliner Weisse in flavour, although it has a higher ABV than usual.Earlier Rating: 9/29/2016 Total Score: 3.2Sampled from tap at Stone Garden Berlin. Very hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is lemongrass, lacto, some maracuja, wheat. Taste is quite spicy, lemongrass, lacto, wheat. Light-bodied. Interesting, I like the herbal lemongrass spicyness. This is way more Berliner than most "Berliner Weisse" out there - but it’s also rather high in ABV.

Tap at brewdog tallinn. Pours hazy yellow. Aroma is sour, sweet, fruits. Flavor is sour, lacto, mango, fruits. Finish is lacto with slight bitterness. Overall: drinkable.
